Buying FAQs

So many reasons. Make me happy. Make my mother happy. Make yourself happy.

2. Which volume should I buy?

You should also buy Volume ד (Dalet) but it isn’t available yet, so until then you should buy Volumes א (Aleph), בּ (Bet), and ג (Gimel). You can buy א (Aleph) first, then בּ (Bet), followed by ג (Gimel), or you can be subversive and buy בּ (Bet) or ג (Gimel) first.

Or just buy all three at the same time. No discount for buying three, but you avoid having to make one more difficult life decision and you can put all your energy into deciding what you want to eat for lunch.

3. I don’t have an e-reader. Should I still buy these e-books?

I’m hurt that you would even ask. Of course you should. And I’ll let you in on a little secret. You can read RASHI, RAMBAM and RAMALAMADINGDONG (and all e-books) on your computer, without buying any hardware or software. Click here for the details.

4. I’m not Jewish. Should I buy these books?

You don’t have to be Jewish to love Levy’s real Jewish Rye. ‘Nuff said.

5. My brother-in-law said he’d give me a copy of his RASHI, RAMBAM and RAMALAMADINGDONG. That’s okay, right?

Yes, it’s okay. If by okay you mean “I don’t mind being arrested and charged with copyright violation.” If by okay you mean “I’m willing to be fined up to $30,000 in damages instead of paying $2.99 for my own copy of RASHI, RAMBAM and RAMALAMADINGDONG.” If by okay you mean “Hey, so I broke the 8th commandment and stole. It’s hard to follow all 10 commandments. At least I call my mama on her birthday in line with the 5th commandment. Give me a break.”

6. Can I buy these books in print version?

This is 2017. You should be ashamed to even ask. Save the trees.

7. When will Volume ד (Dalet) be available? What about ה (Hei) and ו (Vov)?

Click here and you’ll be the first to know when the next volume of RASHI, RAMBAM and RAMALAMADINGDONG is available. Well, not the first. I’ll know before you do. But one of the first, anyway.
